I think if you take the technologies we've got now, we need to develop a lot more nuclear power plants. I have no idea if Kerry has that position. I do feel he's a practical, intelligent guy and could come to that position. He's not in the pocket of the oil men. I know he's spoken of a "manhattan project" of alternative energy to get us to energy independence. Wind, solar, hydro won't do it alone in their present development, and I'm sure he knows that. If we could improve photovoltaic and make it cheaper, coupled with new energy storage techniques, that might make the difference.
