Housing: The local market (SoCal) was off about 15% in June and 34% in July from last year according to the OCRegister (the OCR reports in 4 week periods, not months, but it is close).

The New Home Sales numbers today for June show a 10% drop in the West, so I expect a 25% to 30% drop in the July numbers. The wild card is the South. For some reason the South's volume was up 10% sequentially (May to June) and up 25% year over year.
