Just curious why there isn't a Nasdaq 100 index or Dow 30 index mutual fund, only S&P500 There have been S&P funds, options etc. because S&P has licensed it's list. Until recently Dow Jones wouldn't do the same. That's why you've had the Major Market Index and its options used as a proxy for the Dow. Dow Jones said recently the would license the DJ30 and other indices.
