One poll said that he was the most liberal Senator... a poll that was based on a very limited number of votes, in a year that Kerry spent most of his time away from Congress campaigning and only went in to vote when he had a point to make.

I wish Kerry were to the left of Kennedy. He's certainly very much to the right of me.
