You know, the funny thing about politics is its ability to polarize people. I am a registered Republican that cannot tolerate the idea of another 4 years with Bush. From the day of confirmed election results forward, I understood that our country would be at war with him in office. You see, our military needs a war to remind themselves of their significance. (Most of the people that I know to have joined the military, would likely be in jail today had they not done so.) Therefore, I hold very little faith in our military's ability to peacefully run our economy.

Otherwise, I consider my views very similar to yours, and think of myself as an anal-retentive conservative.
