Question for republicans. As you may know, the Pope is in opposition to the Iraq War. President Bush recently had the following to say: 'I trust God speaks through me,' he said. 'Without that, I couldn't do my job.' zmag.org My question is this: Do you believe that God is speaking through George W. Bush? If your answer is Yes, please explain why you believe God has chosen to speak through George W. Bush, rather than through the Pope, John Kerry, Ralph Nader, or for that matter speaking directly to each one of us. If the answer is No, why do you think Bush is making the claim that God speaks through him?
