I'm answering this one here since Chinu doesn't like religious stuff on the Kerry thread.

Kerry does not claim that God speaks through him. While I am not too up to date on my Catholic dogma, I believe it is fair to say that the Catholic church believes that God does speak through the Pope.

Ergo, the Pope is the one that God is speaking through, as between the Pope and Kerry.

Now you answer my question: With respect to the Iraq War, which the Pope is against and Bush is for, who is God speaking through, the Pope or Bush?
