Wednesday July 28, 2004--Nearly half the nation's voters, 46%, plan to watch Vice-Presidential candidate John Edwards' acceptance speech tonight.

The audience will not be representative of the nation at large--72% plan to vote for the Kerry-Edwards ticket. A Rasmussen Reports survey found that just 24% of tonight's audience will be Bush voters. One percent (1%) say they're voting for some other candidate while 3% are not sure.

Other audience characteristics:

* Most (55%) of those planning to watch are women.

* Just 28% Approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President.

* 60% of those planning to watch consider Edwards a political moderate while 24% consider him liberal. Nationally, 47% view Edwards as politically moderate and 35% see him as liberal.

* 63% of tonight's audience belong to the Investor Class.
