Checking upstream, I see CB gave you the correct info about Ken Starr and Clinton. Clinton was responsible for Clinton's proclivities, not Ken Starr. For enlightenment on the whole subject, read "Sellout" by (Democrat) Judge David S Schippers, who was picked by Henry Hyde to be the Counsel for the Republicans for the hearings...!!! As I said, he is a Democrat from Chicago. The book is most interesting!!
You are right. It is wartime. Some people don't want to think so. We see some here on SI. We hear about them on TV and cable. We heard about many of them at the Whoopi and Kerry fundraiser. Some of them still think they could have "negotiated" with Saddam, and hoped that maybe Saddam would stop sending people to be killed by dogs, and shredders, torture, rape, etec. Didn't seem to stop him.
It wasn't just the USS Cole that Clinton could have "gone after OBL".....There were MANY other bombings that were AQ...and were on American soil. WTC I, Khobar Towers, US Embassy's, etc.
I don't blame just Clinton. I really blame all of us as well. None of us wanted to pay attention, we couldn't pronounce the names and alias's...We didn't ever think that anything could hit us on our own home soil.... We were sleeping, and didn't really wake up until 9-11. Pearl Harbor in our own Time.
It is now up to all of us to be vigilant, and not totally rely on the Government. We must let our media, as well as our Government, know that we are no longer sleeping. |
