In response to your question about SEC filings, Pink sheets etc. You are intelligent enough to know the answer to that? This is a BB stock. Remember the same applies to OVIS maybe you can enlighten us on some of Ovis filings? Now since you happened on to Jaxi turf lets bring out some facts here. Its like comparing wine to grape juice with Jaxi being the wine. First lets look at gross sales as per news wires which is all we have on both Jaxi and OVIS.
biz.yahoo.com
You see were it states gross revenues 4.5 - 5 million and a net profit of 900,000 which eqates to .35 /share earnings. Let it be known that as to date this project has been sold out that's a fact as far as there projected earnings lets say for argument sake we slash it in half .18 per share you have a stock at 1.80 thats just on the basis of this one small project. HOWEVER $3.50 this stock JAXI can support. As far as the stated project all the financing is in place and Jaxi is currently building homes in Tulsa. If you try to knock down Jaxi's projected earnings it will be lame for you to do so being that Jaxi was able to acuire financing for the project no one whould lend capital unless profits were in play. HELLO!!!!
Next Jaxi pays dividends on the shares own by sharholders Does Ovis pay dividends?
biz.yahoo.com
Now take a look at this wire from JAXI;
biz.yahoo.com
BB:JAXI) announced the purchase of half-interest in approximately 54 1/4 acres in Sand Springs, Okla., an up-and-coming community on the west side of Tulsa. The land consists of approximately 50 acres of residential and 4 1/4 acres of commercial property. Now read it very carefully you see were it states purchased not intent to acuire but PURCHASED PERIOD. Thats a piece of property already lined up for there next project which should start in december of 97.
To make this as simple as possible I wish to refrain from all speculation and just state facts which are as follows on OVIS.
In OVIS'S newswire they STATE there total gross revenue for nine months is only 1.54 million so if you average it out for 12 months this companys gross revenue whould be only has a 2 million. I JUST CAN"T CONCEIVE THIS a .10 per share earnings on 2 MILLION GROSS SALES. Were are there financials were are there contracts with the stores stated on there web page. I find it hard to believe that a company that does 2 million in gross revenue can net a profit of around .10 per share what is the companys total shares? Jaxi's is around 5 million.
That,s all there is on ovis period all the other news wires are SPECULATION'S AND IF'S and this stock is at 2.00 per share while Jaxi is at .53? The math just dosen't sink in. It dosen't take a brain scientist to figure out that when people post on the ovis thread about getting this stock to 20.00 based on 2 million in gross sales not net were talking gross has to be a MORON. It's overvalued at present now there asking everyone to call in the certificates to allow a few to dump and run looks like a hype job to me. Also look at ovis's web page no financials no other information about the stores they sell just there names posted no information on total shares or amount of stock in the float 2.00? I don't think so.
The bottom line is anyone who want's to throw 2.00 at this stock has to be a Moron if you give the company the benifit what they say is true which honestly I have a hard time believing .10 X 10 Equates to a value on the stock of a buck or $1.00 period.
I STILL DON'T THINK .10 per share earnings on 2 million gross sales is believable. MAYBE I NEED TO GO TO HYPERs AND SPECULATORS MATH 101.
The only real info on there website is the two statments they list below sounds like sweat shops to me.
Olympus Mills/San Cristobal, Dominican Republic is the location of an 18,000 square ft. factory equipped to manufacture knit and woven garments as well as T-shirts. The facility boasts 160 machines and 170 employees. The production capabilities are 2,500 dozen pieces per week during five ten hour shifts. Although all T-shirts are silk screened domestically, the San Cristobal facility offers embroidering, after sewn garment dyeing, applications and tie dyeing.
Olympus Mills/Managua, Nicaragua is the location of our 30,000 square ft. facility that houses 450 machines for the production of denim and flannel garments. The factory features an additional 1,200 sq. ft. of office space and a 3,000 sq. ft. cafeteria equipped to feed the 520 employees. The factory is the largest of the three facilities and is capable of producing as much as 12,000 pairs of five pocket jeans, and 16,000 flannel shirts per week. Denim garments can be manufactured with a variety of finishes including sand, stone and acid washing, as well as antiquing.
12/10/96: Olympus Ventures, Inc. to show first profitable quarter in company history. BTW SINCE I MADE THE POSTS REPLYING TO YOU GO READ OVIS NOW.
JUST MY OPINION AND MINE ALONE!!!! BUT JAXI STOCK CAN HOLD OVER $2.00 PER SHARE. PLUS WITH SHORTS INVOLVED, DOING THE OVIS MATH, JAXI STOCK COULD SOAR TO $5.00 before the SHORT RECOVERS!!! But I do NOT think it will stay there. BUT it's a GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!
Bottomline is JAXI is still 3 - 4 times below it's value. Where OVIS is twice it;s possible greatest value and I can't see HOW but the cartel did prove with the right stock you can make money.
