Samsung Electronics announced it will add two devices to its line of digital audio players with hard drives. The Yepp YH-820 and the Yepp YH-920 are set to launch in the United States in the first week of September. They will include USB On-The-Go ports, which allow people to connect the players to other devices, such as digital cameras, the South Korean company said. That means they can transfer files directly to the hard drives in the players without the need of an intermediary PC. The players can also be connected to a PC via a USB 2.0 connection.

The Yepp YH-820 will cost $249, come with a 4GB hard drive from Cornice, a color screen and an FM tuner. The Yepp YH-920 will have a price of $299, include a 20GB hard drive from Hitachi and an FM tuner. Samsung's Portable Media Center device, the Yepp YH-999, is also set for release in the first week in September.
