Jack Welch, the previous Chairman of GE and considered very bright, unfortunately supports Kerry, HOWEVER he was asked about this deficit thing. His reply was, "remember Clinton presided over a BUBBLE that was bursting as Bush took office, leading to a recession, this recession was further aggravated by the 9/11 attack and then by the publics loss of confidence in the market over the frauds" In essence, Jack doesnt hold Bush responsible for this deficit and does give him credit for turning the economy around. Thats the kind of politics I can stand, honest opinion, honest discussion. Not the lies told by all the other Kerry supporters. jdn
