Check your facts again, Dip. President Bush decided to oust Saddam for SEVERAL reasons, not just one. Some of them would undoubtedly include the following: repeated violations of the 1991 cease-fire agreement, state-sponsored support of terrorism, use of WMD's in wars with Iran and against Iraqi citizens, WMD development programs, repeated threats against the US and its citizens, horrific human rights violations...these few reasons were ALL acknowledged by the United Nations as well as the intelligence services of the USA, United Kingdom, France, Germany, and a whole host of other countries. Only the US, England, and a few others stepped up to the plate...the rest of the world was (and still is) caught in grip of "Global Whining."
As for your other comments, whose job was it? Whose job was it to stop Hitler? Whose job is it to aid someone struck by a car in front of your house?
Do you hate the man from Texas so much that you've become completely indifferent to the misery of the millions Saddam brutalized? Have you gone completely French??--MK-- |
