You can't engage in an intellectual debate ..........

.......... with a Bush supporter. It would make more sense to engage in one with an athletic supporter.

The reasons for the invasion of Iraq are wrapped up in the irrational patriotic frenzy of the late summer of 2002. The whole reason for the administration stimulating such fervor was to "test" the Democrats, tie their hands, and win the midterm elections of 2002. The plan worked.

The problem is that virtually all Democrats, including Kerry, got hoodwinked by this duplicitous administration. There is simply not public support for an evacuation of Iraq--YET!--but I'm sure that's what Kerry wants to do.

Who do you think is more likely to get us out of Iraq sooner? Bush or Kerry? That's a no-brainer, regardless of what the Democratic or Republican platforms state this summer. Tucker Carlson of CNN loves to point out that Bush and Kerry are on the same page regarding Iraq. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The public is just not ready to dance to Kerry's music.
