Here is what we have so far, some more serious than others.

1) John Kerry sacrificed his work at Yale to enlist in the military. He demonstrated leadership and courage during his time of service earning medals in honor of his record in Viet Nam. On returning home he became a spokesman against corruption in government related to the Viet Nam conflict.

2) His efforts to be a leader in the anti-establishment movement in the late 60's and early seventies may have been the main catalist for his later being elected to congress.

3) As a congressman he was known for his work in foriegn affairs and has demonstrated his ability to establish relations with foriegn leaders as a result.

4) He's got great hair!

5) Four reasons: excellent credentials, a more traditionalist approach to foreign policy, he knows what war's like from personal experience and although by no means a perfect match, his ideology is closer to mine.

6) Kerry offers himself up mainly as a more competent manager of the Bush agenda, a steadier hand on the helm of the Empire. His pedigree is immaculate

7) John Kerry's wife has money and she would quite possibly spruce up the White House.

8) John Kerry graduated from Yale without sacrifice. He proceeded to apply for an additional educational deferment to avoid the draft. His papers said he planned to study in France. That deferment was denied, so he enlisted in the Navy rather than get drafted into the Army. He demonstrated leadership and courage during his time of service in Viet Nam. He brought a camera with him to film reenactments of his heroic deeds for future political runs.

Let me know if I missed any or if you have new contributions.

Best regards,
jewel
