That post does explain your view. I get it. You see no evil; You hear no evil; and you don't want to talk about evil.

I understand your need to frame what I say in a way that makes sense to you. But you don't get what I said. I see evil all right. What I don't see is that particular evil having the capacity to do us existential harm unless we let it by drinking the Kool-ade and squandering our energies and productivity and the lives of fine young people by overreacting to it, thus burning ourselves out. The terrorists are trying to do to us what we did to the Soviets--cause us to thrash ourselves to death. And we're not only playing along, we're making a religion out of it.

The ecowarriers are not fighting a problem that wants to behead them unless they are under under the spell of a religion other than Jew, Christian, or American.

I used the religion metaphor and the Kool-ade metaphor because LB are so fond of applying them to environmentalists who think the sky is falling on us. I think they are equally apt for those who think the Islam/Arab sky is falling on us.

As for talking about it, I love to talk about it. Your turn, if you choose to take it. <g>
