Actually, I thought it was strategic LUNACY to stop short of ousting the Dictator at the conclusion of Desert Storm... and one of the most shameful days in the entire history of the United States' Presidency when Bush I called for the uprising against Saddam, promised American support, and then cravenly stood by and watched the rebellions get crushed, and the people slaughtered.
