Why not ask him why he feels that way?
I have no interest in engaging him in discussion. From what I've seen, he does not believe in any sort of dialogue.

He feels American citizens, and perhaps the current administration, is offensive in some way. And perhaps he's right. Or he may be wrong.
You couldn't straddle the issue better. If he feels that Americans, as a general class, suck, that's his issue, not mine. If he believes 293 million of us suck, that's his prerogative, but I do believe he overstates his case and over-generalizes.
But IMO, nominating him for thread moron, given your lack of evidence, is more a lesson in your hubris than the evidence.
