His wife talked about that last night. I s'pose it really felt good.

I watched. At the very end of her speech she acknowledged the applause by saying, "Merci" four times.

She glanced around and said, "Merci, Merci, Merci, Merci."

Today I learned that "Merci" when spoken by the French to an American means "Stuff It."
