From the CNN Link I posted...means that the range of pay is from $127,000 to $547,000 per year.

How much does a special forces soldier make in the armed forces? Not that much.

And I believe that if you can make it through Blackwater's training program you can make the big bucks...even if you were not special forces when you did your hitch. I wouldn't be surprised if Blackwater would take a guy with no prior military service experience provided he has law enforcement or other background...and especially the desire and the money to spend on the training. Sure they were founded by former special forces folks...but what the hell is the 6000 acre training ground for if it's not to train people on?
