Does the rightwing have a single honest issue? All I hear is slander, gross distortions and silly name-calling. Where are the issues the rightwing cares about? Why do even your top political operatives have to resort to pure fabrication to create an issue? Let me give you examples:
Attack #1 - Kerry will raise your taxes (only if you're rich, but the Bushies never mention that even when they're talking to middleclass people, so it's a lie). Also, who else is going to pay off Bush's record setting deficits.
Attack #2 - Kerry is "weak on defense". (They pick out these votes WAR HERO Kerry supposedly made but don't tell you Bush Sr., Cheney and GOP hawks like Shelby of Alabama also agreed with each vote of Kerry's, and that Kerry has voted FOR every single weapons system except the ridiculous MXC Missile System which was scrapped on a bipartisan basis, plus the biggest defense increases in history)
Attack #3 - He's the "most liberal" guy in the senate.
Then why the hell did he vote for Bush's war powers, welfare reform, balanced budget amendments and tax cuts? Something is missing there. Maybe they're only talking about votes for womens rights, the environment and civil rights. If so, fine then he's a "liberal" but he's more conservative fiscally than Bush and will make our country a lot safer for less money.
Attack #4 - Kerry is a flip-flopper. Where? When? And boy, Bush should talk? How many of his "compassionate" campaign promises has he fulfilled? Even one? And look at how he just did an about-face in Iraq. As soon as Abu Graiab happened, Bush ran and hid from Iraq. |
