The Aladdin always comps me the Panorama suite (end cap), with the extra room connected to the outer vestibule if my kids go. The view is the water show across the street at the Bellagio, and I can see the Rio looking past it. Plus all of our meals in the hotel are comp'd. Kind of hard to argue with that! Even better was that I won a couple of grand on this trip... I'm a net winner in that casino.
It also has the Desert Passage mall connected to the casino, with a 135 or so stores... keeps the Mrs. occupied while I'm gambling.
I've stayed at the Flamingo, Bally's, Caesar's, and in more recent years, Paris and Aladdin, so I know the intersection well... hell, I probably paid for it!
With Planet Hollywood, the soon-to-be-owners of Aladdin seemingly in favor of entertainers preaching politics instead of what they're being paid to do, I'll likely be taking my business elsewhere on future visits. It's too bad, because we've always enjoyed our stays there. |
