> Well, as I said, he didn't express facts, he expressed opinions. Take, as an example, something I actually know quite a bit about, the 2000 election. He is of the opinion that Bush stole the election. I believe that he's factually wrong on that, but I understand how he could have that opinion. Many do.

Not so fast CB. Yes he is of the opinion that Bush stole the election. But he also claims as fact several factors that lead him to that conclusion. Among them are the pro-Bush bias of Fox News (can we call it that? "News" that is) that is headed by Bush's cousin. He also mentioned as a fact, that further analysis showed that Gore actually won Florida when you recount all the votes. He further mentions as a fact, that not a single senator signed on the many rep's motion to investigate the election results. And finally that there were riots and egg and tomato throwing at Bush's car on his inauguration day and that the traditional walk was cancelled to prevent a greater riot. He mentions as a fact, that such demonstrations against a "winning" president had never before happened in America...these are plenty of facts that you seem to have missed.

>> I don't recall him saying that depleted uranium weapons cause cancer.

He never did. That was a statement by the deserters who may or may not have asked for refugee status in Canada to avoid personal hardship.
