I strongly suspect he lied about the boad accident in the Boston Harbor ... don't know if I can forgive him for that one or not. 5-10k clearly is not a head count but an estimated range. I suspect an exaggerated one too but I will stop short of making an allegation that I can't back up. But it did raise the question in my mind about what percentage of high ranking officers might support either candidate. It seems more risky to take a stand against the existing Commander and Chief, so it might not be possible to get very many to speak up for Kerry at this point in the campaign.
