Tonight Kerry is on his own. The next time he will have this type of audience is during the debates. If he wants a pop, he needs to do something tonight.

Yup. All most Democrats know about Kerry is a) Senator from Massachusetts (but not Teddy) b) served in Vietnam c) NOTBUSH.

That isn't much to base a campaign on, but the stealth campaign has served the charisma-challenged Senator well until now. Tonight he has to give America a reason to be pro-Kerry, not just anti-Bush.
