I know storage is ugly today but the long term projections remain intact. Ask any IT dept about future initiatives and compliance is on the list. We can't go around saying "this is ugly, that is ugly" while at the same time maintaining that things are good in IT. If IT is healthy storage will do well, leadership will emerge and that will be that, just like we had in the early 90s with the strong areas. Databases were ugly too in 91- too much competitiion. But, DB was a long term winner
