Re: FMTI As you mentioned, it announced today two others cholesterol absorption inhibitors to its drug development program and they are planning a PII of their FM-VP4 in the 2ndQ of 2005.

The stock was up 2.5% for the day, closing 3 pennies below its intra-day H of $2.08

Its highest one minute volume today was the 27,200 shares that were traded at 11.20AM unchanged at $1.97 Today total volume of 135,988 shares was still low compared to the 7,169,371 that were traded on April 6.(The day of the down-gap.<g>)

FMTI seems to have made an intra-day double bottom Tuesday at the $1.72 level (at 2.30-3.30PM)and has a mini-term up-trend since then, which continued yesterday and today.

It needs to close tomorrow above today's H of $2.08 before it can test its July 19 H at $2.13 <g>

After that it has more important looking resistance at the 2.25 level (from July 15) and that would still be a long way before it can test its June 14 H at 2.79

In order for it to start closing its April 6 down-gap, the stock needs to close above 3.70 <g>

Looking at some of its fundies, the 1stQ loss of $0.06 was much larger than the $0.01 loss in the 1st Q of 2003 and revenues were down by 4% (3.3M vs.3.4M)

Reportedly it has around $0.44 cash/share and its TD/Eq=0.064 Insiders hold around 4% and institutions around 17% Float is around 32M and the short position is around 4.4%
