LOL

I watched too and decided I am going to vote for a wonderful American. A man who suffered serious injuries while stepping off a helicopter and reaching for someone else's grenade.

A worthy guy who speaks often and loud and even though his democratic state refused to reeelect him 10 years ago after one term as senator he never relented and showed his true colors tonight when he said he loves John Kerry. John Edwards won't be reeelected either. I guess that is part of his special attraction.

I am voting for Max Cleland.

Speaking of colors, I do wish Johnny had referred to our colors as the Stars and Stripes rather than the French way of calling their flag the red white and blue.

I think I'll flip flop about Max (Am I permitted to do that.) and vote for canyondweller. At least he answered his country's call and finished his tour with honor and distinction.

I am convinced cyndwllr is the real thing for a significant number of reasons that I gleaned from his statements. Stuff that wannabees don't know and would never say if they did. And his statements are not in books at least not yet. Perhaps he will write one. I initially misjudged him and I openly apologize for that.

Listen to him. His words should receive more weight than Kerry's imo. Just because he and I don't always agree does not mean I don't listen to him. I have him book marked now. I would rather be influenced by an Army grunt Sergeant who completed his tour with honor than a Naval officer who fled the battlefield in fear.

I like Faultline too. I visited his base in nam several times while he was there. I doubt we met, but I know a lot of great work was done there, both along the runways and at the hospital near the end of the runway where I slept for 10 days while they saved my sorry butt. And I did hear he occasionally visited the Mike Force Club at one corner of the base...so perhaps we did meet. I was a sucker for buying USAF guys drinks. I loved them all, especially when they were flying directly overhead.

I think Kerry put on a good show. I was especially taken when his daughter said that a few years ago, from her death bed, Kerry's mom reminded him that integrity is important . It was a breathtaking moment.

I tried to think when my mom had to give me that reminder. I still don't recall it.

I am outta here again.
