The Fishing Net or The Early Years
The early years were characterized by a lack of of material, that lack forced us together, today the landscape is a lot different. When I write these stories I often use a lot of red but most of the pigment is derived from the blood of the people who live and die here, there is no lack of this material. The measures of black and white that I use to create the gray pigment I prefer are of my own making though I do use materials provided by other members, with caution, once in awhile. In the early years there was a paucity of input, that isn't case today, establishing I/O today is a very difficult process, readers have choices. Established I/O is a function of location and location in cyberspace has nothing to do with geography, it has everything to do with community and history.
We are constrained by the fabric just as we are empowered by the fabric. |
