He learned a lot from that experience...Here are some Kerry quotes from the speech tonight that I really could connect with...

"I will ask the hard questions and demand the evidence."

"We only go to war because we have to."

"Our troops will never be asked to fight a war without a plan to win the peace."

"I want an America that relies on its own ingenuity and innovation - not the Saudi royal family."


Unfortunately, this is all undermined by Kerry's poor decision making in the recent past. He opposed Gulf War I, which was conducted in precisely the multilateral way Kerry says he supports. And he supported Gulf War II, which wasn't.

Basically, Kerry blows with this wind. But looking at the bright side, a President who doesn't believe in anything may be a refreshing change after Bush.
