He may have voted against the F14 etc. But others voted for it and our military has those. What has the military gained so far. They bombed the heck out of the Tora Bora. Did they achieve their goal of capturing Osama?

What have those weapons done in Iraq? Show me how those weapon systems have helped the US win a guerilla war?

War against terror will be won with good intelligence since like the Vietnam war it is going to be a guerilla war. Bush himself has acknowledged that in this war where the enemy is is not known. The enemy is hidden. So what will the F-14's do in such a war. Our military needs good intelligence not those sophisticated weapons.

The Republican party, morons as they are, infested with those who benefit from the manufacture of weapon systems, fear Kerry as a President. President Kerry will put a chokehold on their profits by reducing the manufacture of those weapons. Instead he will increase the funding for our intelligence, hiring more people instead of buying more weapons. Can you see through this logic. Or will you increase the number of those Americans who are incapable of free and independent thinking like the citizens of the rest of the world.
