I'm in the same boat with the no-key situation, although not for as long - I sent my check out last Monday. Unfortunately, I've run out of free trials (i.e. 50 uses), so I can't use the program until I get the key. I've tried re-installing the program, but that doesn't help.

Oh well, I should have acted sooner.
