OT: I miss my west coast days in Oregon during the 80's! Did some neat sea kayaking up in Barclay Sound of Vancouver Isl. Lots of bald eagles and open quiet and deep waters. And hot springs too! Fortunately I have my own personal outdoor tour guide who lives in Portland, OR. :) He's a student program director for a very nice liberal arts college there.

Anyway, GDP number a bit soft, but chips still look to be holding in light of KLAC numbers, and other chip news out of Asia (INTC has its own new chip production issues; shouldn't be a problem, case specific). Appears that Asian chip companies are saying '05 looks strong, and no weakness until '06. I'll take that to the bank!

Would like to see oil price dip back below $40 to put a nice floor to the current correction so we can consolidate and rebuild technicals.

Good hiking Jane, and Jill keep pumping the iron! =;D
