A convention is like the day a plaintiff files his complaint. It's the best day. The complaint was well crafted and sounds great. No one has had a chance to question it or start chipping away. Things change after the adversary gets a crack at it. Suddenly there's two sides to the issue. I agree that Kerry needs a bounce coming off the convention.
