you gotta laugh at economic references from political sources

The one bright spot on the horizon for the Bush administration has been the undeniable fact that the economy has moved into a brisker phase of recovery since the beginning of 2004

undeniable?
1.1 million new jobs since January from Birth-Death model
out of 1.4 million new jobs reported

the B-D model which is based upon data from 1985 to 2000
before China granted Most Favored Nation status
before giant strides in service outsourcing to India
before broadband became rooted across the US Economy

the Bureau of Labor Statistics warns that changing trends put their model at risk of error
but overlook the crystal clear megatrends

the US Economy is stalling
most of the GDP reported (Q1 at 3.0%) is unadjusted price inflation

the economy peaked in Q3 last year
that was 5% GDP or some such nonsense
probably more like 1.5% after you properly factor in price inflation deflator calculations

we all know the CPI is way way way low
but we overlook that its understatement results in an instant OVERTSTATEMENT of the GDP for economic growth

they go hand in hand
undeniable?
pure bullshit, eagerly gobbled up by the masses
