Today Brinker expressed confidence the DJIA would breach new highs
in the 8300 to 8400 dollar range by year end. Brinker also expects
the long bond to rise as the economy slows and forecasts a long bond
interest rate of 6.25% before year end, if memory serves. That being
said, Bob has not deviated from his view that current lofty price/
earnings valuations demand dollar cost averaging to the exclusion
of other strategies.

This weekend's Barron's makes very favorable mention of
Silicon Investor and praises the knowledge and expertise
of its contributing members, particularly as regards the tech-
nology sector. Brinker duly noted the glowing review and
read excerpts over the air.
