Auto sales are great

While rebates are on the rise, so are prices. According to CNW Marketing Research, incentives in July are less than 1% higher than a year ago. But prices are up nearly 13% year over year - far outpacing inflation - with the average transaction price reaching $24,370, compared with $21,606 in July 2003.
