Quite simplistic and fundamentalist alarmism ...shall we go back to believing in devils and demons hiding behind every shadow ? Stoning people to death for working on the Sabbath ? Or burning heretics and old women for witchcraft?
And beheadings of the infidel? Lets also throw acid into the faces of young Hindu girls for not wearing some religious shroud and headcovering too.
You might have thought to add "socialism" onto that devilish-bugaaboo word above, for the Europeans today worship at the alter of it . Or Paganism and Pantheism as well ....and don't forget all those millions of kids today being taught the science/religion of Ecology and a "living earth" to be preserved and loved , and saving its resources. Only 35 yrs ago hardly anyone gave a second thought to recycling and attempting to preserve resources . Not a bad creed is that ....the asians have made fortunes recycling steel and iron and selling it back to us.
And when was the last time you witnessed before God marauding bands of pagans and witches or wiccans ?
Or raving rampaging ecologists/evolutionists strapping bombs to themselves and blowing up innocent people ? Or committing mass suicide drinking the cyanide-laced coolaid as down in Jonestown with Reverend Jones? What a pretty mess that was . Or the children who died in Waco Texas spectacle and do continue to die all over the world of religious fundamentalism that teaches one is more blessed than the other dog & infidel ? Lovely practice too it was the bombing of abortion clinics and terrorist tactics ...and killing doctors. Or the sexual abuse of children by priests for years while the Church did nothing ...doing its best to look the other way , for God was still always on their side.
You could have also added Nietzche to that scary bugaaboo word above ...for it was he that said first , if there be anything ugly or evil in this world yet undreamed of , be sure a Christian will always be able to create and find it .
I think Solon pointed out to you quite well before the nature of belief and the similarity of structure of madness between religion and communism , one the flipside to the other . Or Hitler's professed belief he was on a mission from God attempting to create the Third Reich ...yet if you truely be a Christian even he you would have to forgive.
