I may have overreached. I don't really know, and don't want to do the research. I'm not alone in my thinking. pharmawatch.blogspot.com I think the profit motive can't be the only reason to develop medicines. What incentive would a drug company have for developing a cure to a disease they currently have people hooked on medicines for life treating? None. Big Pharma is not an altruistic institution.
