The Ron Reagan article ..........

.......... is getting more responses on the threads I follow here than any other article I've ever run across.

What does that mean? (1) It was well written; (2) it comes from an unlikely source, the son of a deceased Republican president; and (3) it was vicious in its breadth. Reagan left no stone unturned. Coupled with his mother's refusal to attend the Republican National Convention later this summer, the pathetic neocons are looking more and more isolated all the time.

I just love how Kerry has parked in the center and isolated the neocons to the right. I trust Kerry, should he be elected, to make the right decisions in a multitude of areas. When a president is elected, he is elected to deal with uncertainties, as much as with the problems obviously facing the United States and the world.

For example, did we "elect" Bush because we wanted him to be the president should al Qaeda blow up both of the Twin Towers? Hell no!

I tell my students they need to study math to be ready for the uncertainties of the future. Had I possessed that maturity when I was kid, I wouldn't have abandoned my math education prematurely. Who would have ever predicted the boom of the computer age and the PC?

We need Kerry for the uncertainties. Bush could take us into the abyss.
