You cannot truthfully attack Kerry's war record. It's simply as good as it gets for what it was. His commander in chief's final report on Kerry called him a superlative leader with courage beyond the call of duty. He also credits him with 20+ enemy kills. You won't find that on any of these anti-Kerry so-called Vets sites.

Also remember, if the anti-Kerry vet groups were legit and telling the truth the major networks would absolutely cover them and give them air time. But the last time they did this (on Hannity-Colmes), the anti-Kerry vet leader Sampley embarrassed even Sean Hannity, calling both Kerry and McCain "traitors" and exposing themselves as extreme rightwing nut cases. Also, the media knows who O'Neill is, a longtime rightwing political operative.

If you want to vote for Bush, go ahead, but don't do it because Bush would make a better commander in chief. He hasn't and he won't. Kerry is much-much smarter and more experienced than Bush when it comes to National Security. In 3+ years Bush made five collosal and inexcuseable blunders:

- Concentrating on the useless SDI and alienating allies, ignoring terrorism
- Ignoring warnings and letting 9-11 happen
- Letting Osama Bin Lauden escape at Tora Bora
- Failing to ask his father's advice about coalition-building and invading Iraq
- Invading Iraq on false pretenses without a post-invasion plan

You can add to that the policies which led to Abu Graib, disengaging from North Korean and Israel and losing sight of the biggest problem of all, securing loose nukes in the old Soviet Union. Meanwhile we;ve wasted billions and billions on Bush's SDI boondoggle and the damn thing still isn't close to working.

Kerry would have made NONE of these mistakes. and how better off we'd be.
