The technical points about the Micrascan vs the competition are easily layed-out. Eventually all the stepper makings will adopt the Micrascan technologies:

1) 248nm (done deal)
2) Step-and-Scan (happening now)
3) Reflective lenses (193nm for sure)
4) Horizontal lenses, mask and wafer planes (more important and difficult than you might imagine)

As far as the SVGI stock price, who knows? The Micrascan has constantly been positioned for the high-end and only the high-end. Will the technology catch-up to the fundimental design of the Micrascan. Yes, but who knows what the competition will look like then. (The MSIII is most appropriate for 0.18um now, and 0.15um in 12 months. The market is ramping for 0.25um right now). Unfortunately, the real battle is still a generation away for the Micrascan, but it is secure in the high-end for the near future.
