The Europeans have been fighting terrorists the way you suggest for decades and have gotten nowhere. President Bush and the Armed Forces have been fighting for two years and are rooting out terrorists who would just as soon behead you than befriend you. We finally have the upper hand on fighting terror. Yes, some Soldiers and Marines have lost their lives, but that is the heavy price paid and what happens when the Government performs their constitutionally demanded responsibility of providing for the national defense by going to war.
