Bob, I have no hidden agenda. I have worked hard to share a significant amount of information concerning the relationship of technical analysis and sentiment indicators on the market. On stocks in this sector in particular. I also share a lot of fundamental information.

I'm not trying to convince anyone that my read on what is happening in the market is correct or that it could not change. But I am proud of the fact that I believe anyone who reads what I post with an open mind can learn something useful that will help with their investment success long term.

As I said I right now I am long. So at this point in time I sincerely hope you are right. I hope the downtrend is defeated. In order for you to be right though institutional investors are going to have to step up and buy with both hands. Buy now during the summer months, a time when they usually avoid technology stocks, and take in high volume buy and hold positions so the SMH and SOX can break out of the respective trading ranges they have been in so far.

I think the market will manage to move higher for a while Bob. I do not think the SOX and SMH will breakout of the downtrend though I will watch volume, technical analysis and sentiment analysis and I could change my mind.

Good luck with your positions!
