I hate really tall buildings

I, too, have passed on jobs, not necessarily in tall buildings but where my office was on a high floor. I grew up in an apartment that had been burned out before we moved in. The beams in the attic were still charred and the smell of burnt wood was just below conscious level. I had nightmares about fire every day of my life before we moved when I was in the fifth grade. So fire is my concern, not being squooshed parking garages. But I take your point. I went to the top of the WTC once--held my breath and went but hated it. Would never, ever have considered working there. That's one thing I like about Washington. Relatively short buildings.
