The really tragic thing is that when/if Al Qaeda attacks again, the neocons will cry "I told you so!". That, after they've done everything possible to ensure that Al Qaeda can regroup, replan, and attack, while our security is no better than three years ago.

An attack on the US now would be good for Bush. bin Laden wants Bush to remain President, because Bush has been the best recruitment tool for bin Laden.
