I wouldn't sign a pledge and give my license number etc to attend a bush or kerry speech.

However , if from reading they have democrats disrupting the presentation i can see their point. The purpose of the presentation is talk to supporters and independents i expect who are leaning toward Bush.. I do remember a few outbreaks at a Cheney speech on tv a few weeks back. That is not the way our political system should work. If you want to go , then listen and do not disrupt. imo

I have to assume that the Cheney meeting or political presentation went without disruption and the request to sign a form served its purpose.
