Bush needs an overwhelming military vote, but expect Kerry to pick off quite a few of them between now and November. Maybe as much as half. Also remember, half the military now is minorities and women, plus the white southern males in the military are going to be Bushies anyway.

It really makes no sense to support Bush over Kerry if you're a vet. Kerry is a war hero and life-long champion of vets rights, Bush is the AWOL rich kid guy who's cut their benefits and treated them like dirt. Also, the Iraq War has got to be less and less popular with the military community. It's totally over-stretched and exhausted them and Bush's WMD's claims anmd his whole excuse for invading turn out to be a buncha BS.
