Ann, I am not sure if you watched Topic[A] by Tina Brown. She had a guest on the show who is a shrink. He mentioned that blaming others for one's actions is very typical of an alcoholic. An alcoholic always says: It is not my fault. It is someone else who is at fault.

Your post is the same as what Bush says. It is Clinton's fault. 8 yrs vs. 8 months etc. etc. I am waiting to see when the right wing columnists and people like yourself start to say that it is unfair to compare Bush's achievements with that of Clinton's since Clinton had 8 years to prove himself whereas Bush has had only 4. In fact Bush struck a similar tune two days ago in "Prosperity is around the corner" speech. All these years he has said "The boogey man Saddam is around the corner." Now he says "Prosperity is around the corner." We all know the boogey man was not around the corner. Now we also know that prosperity is not around the corner. We had a bad second quarter economy after all the lies the White House told us aboout job creation.
