Terror alerts and all scare tactics produce initial support for Bush after awhile people don't like the anxiety and there is a backlash. It could be that the terror alert is real though once again I heard some of the intel is years old, such a evidence Al Qaida people were scoping out those certain targets. yes, but years ago. Of course I haven't seen the intel reports and neither has the press. That makes one suspect Bushies may be increasing terror alerts to test their political pull. I hate to be so cynical but I don't put anything past an administration which would push us into a war based on lies or out an CIA agent.
